How far in advance should I book?
Most weddings and mitzvahs book six to twelve months out. Corporate events are usually shorter notice. If your date is close, still ask — sometimes it's open.
Do you take requests on the night?
Yes, within reason. You'll give me a must-play list and a do-not-play list ahead of time, and I'll take guest requests that fit where the room is. What I won't do is kill a full floor to play something that empties it.
Can you MC as well?
Announcements, introductions and keeping the program moving — yes, that's included. If you want a dedicated MC hosting the room all night, or motivational dancers working the floor, I bring those in as an add-on. It's the standard setup for a bar or bat mitzvah — just say so when you book so I can hold the right people for your date.
What do you need from the venue?
Two dedicated 20-amp circuits for a standard setup, a table or booth space, and load-in access. I'll coordinate directly with your venue or planner so you don't have to relay it.
Are you insured?
Yes. Certificates of insurance are available for venues that require one — just send me the certificate holder details and I'll get it over.
Do you travel?
NY and NJ are home turf. Beyond that, get in touch and we'll work out travel as part of the quote.
